BIONIC READING is a new method making reading easier by guiding the eyes with artificial fixation points through text. In doing so, the reader is perceiving the bold starting letters of a word. The brain center then completes the word. Read and understand written content more indepth in a digital world dominated by shallow forms of reading.

READING – LEARNING – UNDERSTANDING
How does BIONIC READING work?
BIONIC READING is implemented with a software. The special feature is the algorithm, which can be adjusted as desired and thus meets individual reading habits. Depending on the context, the software can be used on blogs, websites, e-books, e-papers, e-mails, etc.
Who can use Bionic Reading?
BIONIC READING can be used by readers of all levels. Young readers, students, professionals, those who struggle with reading or those who seek a faster way of reading.
What distinguishes Bionic Reading from other reading methods?
Usually what you gain in speed, you lose in understanding. BIONIC READING is an exception as it is supporting the reading process by guidance. You also don’t need to spend a lot of money on special reading courses. BIONIC READING is for free.
What does Bionic Reading do?
BIONIC READING makes the reading process faster, easier and more conscious by implementing artificial fixation points and typographical markups. According to recent research over 85% were sure about the positive impact on reading speed and over 70% felt an increase in comprehension. BIOINIC READING is intending to eliminate associated problems and challenges in the digital communication field of written content.
What is the science behind BIONIC READING?
Bold characters serve as artificial fixation points. The peripheral area of our eyes is used to recognize the fixation points and thus direct the saccade to the next word. Sub-processes, such as the planning of the next fixation and the processing of the next word are being facilitated or completely replaced. Moreover, the phenomenon of saccade suppression plays a special role in the BIONIC READING-way of reading. During the suppression, it is generally impossible to consciously perceive visual information, as our eyes jump from one point to another at a particularly high rate. Although the preception of information is restricted, cognitive processes are still being processed. The principle of the BIONIC READING is intending to take advantage of the high speed of the saccades, while at the same time counteracting the effect of information suppression by making use of the complementary effects of the pars-pro-toto principle. The reader is able to conclude by means of the bold-marked letters on the totality of the word. From the concrete part the concrete whole is imagined. In this way the reading speed and reading comprehension is being increased.
