Bionic Reading® wants to change reading.
Our mission is:

Faster.
Better.
More focused.
Reading.

What do we want.

With Bionic Reading®, we aim to promote reading and comprehension of textual content in a hectic and noisy world.

What does the name mean.

The word “bionic” is composed of the terms bios (life) and technology. We use the human brain, a phenomenon of nature, and combine it with our reading technology. And therefore stands “Bionic Reading®”.

We are Bionic Reading®.

Why reading is important.

Reading and text comprehension is essential for active participation in today’s society. To understand how Bionic Reading® works, we need to understand how reading fundamentally works.

Method.

What does Bionic Reading®.

Bionic Reading® revises texts so that the most concise parts of words are highlighted. This guides the eye over the text and the brain remembers previously learned words more quickly.

How will this be achieved.

Bionic Reading® is a reading system that supports the reading flow. The eye is guided through the text by means of typographic highlights. With the interplay of “Fixation”, “Saccade” and “Opacity” visual stimuli can be transferred to the text, which decisively change the typeface.

Why Bionic Reading®.

Bionic Reading® aims to play a supporting role in the absorption of volume text. We see technological progress as an opportunity for all those who want to increase the pleasure of reading in a noisy and hectic world in a focused way and without distraction.

What do you get out of this.

Save precious time. Gain advantages. Learn new things faster. Expand your knowledge. Improve your skills. Noise-free with more focus and less distraction.

Facts.

Everyone is different.

The Bionic Reading® reading method can be individually adapted to the needs of all readers. This flexibility allows Bionic Reading® to provide maximum customization for all users.

Naturally focused reading.

Concentrate on the essentials. We create a virtual space of calm for you, so you can absorb texts faster.

Increase your success.

Increase your performance and dedicate yourself to the transmission of messages. More knowledge will make you more successful and give you the significant advantage in this noisy and hectic world.

More than 15% have difficulties.

+15% of the population has great difficulty reading and understanding texts (ADHD, dyslexia). We have received feedback from those affected that thanks to Bionic Reading® they immediately understood the content of various texts the first time they read them, which was impossible without Bionic Reading®. This is pure motivation and also a responsibility towards society, which we are happy to fulfill.

Research.

What is researched.

The most important processes and structures have already been shown by the researchers Just and Carpenter in 1980 in a text comprehension model. Historical scientific eye movement research has existed since 1905 (© L.E. Javal. The Physiology of Reading and Writing).

How do we read humans.

When we fixate a part of a word – the fixation – the necessary information is passed to our brain so that we can match our long-term memory with the available representational products.

What does it mean.

The jerky phase between fixations is called saccade. During the saccade jump, we are unable to take in read information and pass it on to our memory.

And what happens next.

We are constantly improving the product and identifying a variety of optimizations. Knowledge of typography and technology enables us to drive further user-specific improvements.

Break old patterns.
